So it’s a gift for my dad and haven’t gave it to him yet but we FaceTime and he loved it … I was so worried about ordering here cuz never heard of the company but I’m so glad I did and it came out perfect perfect perfect.

Super happy how print came out, but looks a little less vibrant even after just a cool water quick wash. Still nice looking, but would have preferred the vibrancy to have remained.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I have a long-standing interest in photography. I had my first camera since before my teens. I used a (Minolta) film camera up until about 8 years ago when my camera failed to function while on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Although a little intimidated, I then ventured into the world of digital photography and I've never looked back. My passion is nature. I started out primarily photographing flowers, plants, and critters that I would find in my garden. I love gardening and the great outdoors. I am always planning my next adventure, and I'll always have my camera in hand. I'm already...

Came back to see what you had said about how you achieve this look. Sounds very time consuming indeed, but so worth it, Heidi! It is quite a unique look, I think, which makes your work stand out in the crowd. Just a little admiration from one of your fans. :)
Heidi Smith replied:
Hey Carla, thanks for stopping by again. :) The process is quite interesting to me. When I was first introduced to HDR a few years ago, I was quite intrigued, but also intimidated. I shoot in RAW using Manuel settings as it is, and shooting for HDR under most circumstances requires 3 bracketed images. When the lighting is challenging... like on an early morning in a darkened Yosemite Valley with very illumined granite, HDR can be a photographic life saver. A GND filter doesn't always do the trick... Anyway, I'm enjoying the process and I really appreciate your comments and support. Thank you. :)
