A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
In the early 50s my parents had a Henry J. This was a car built by Kaiser/Frazer. It was a compact. It seated 5 adults and had no rear deck. The rear seat folded down to access the things in the trunk. The engine was the same as the one in the CJ3 Jeep which was used by our troops throughout WWII. The car was a sort of an American version of the VW; a people's car. It sold new for $1300. It had a top speed of 80 mph and got 35 mpg.

I try to put everything I have learned from every great teacher and through every mistake I have made into each and every piece with as much passion as I have for art and for life itself. Artists have been accused of being self aggrandizing, long winded, name droppers. I hate it when the critics get it right! In an attempt to diffuse those kinds of accusations, regardless of how accurate they may be, I am writing this statement today. Each picture I make begins with a germ of an idea. I visualize how I...

Great image, classic presentation.v.
William Fields replied:
Thank you Bob. I have some non-classic memories of riding in the trunk with my head sticking up over the rear seat when my folks had themselves, my uncle and aunt, two of my cousins, me and both of my brothers for passengers in that little doodlebug.

Timeless, I remember in the mid 90's, a cab company had these in Las Vegas. V.
William Fields replied:
I wonder if that is where this "cab" came from Joseph? The restaurant that had this one out front also had a second one that is blue. Both were decked out as cabs, but neither is used for anything other than decoration.
