This composite photograph depicts a homeless couple living, with their dog, in a doorway in Paris. Contrasting with this scene and overlaying it is an opulent garden from Versailles. Although the level of economic and social inequality is not as high as in the United States, class divisions are real, persistent and deep in modern France despite a somewhat bigger social safety net. This piece is an attempt to expose the the social and economic crisis brewing in France, Europe, as well as the rest of the world.
