Description
This is a restored copy of Abdih-Hiddisch "A Miniatarre Chief" with a thin blue filament dangling from the end of the feather on his hat. This is a hand colored lithograph circa 1840-1843 by Swiss French painter of authentic Native American Indian themes, Karl Bodmer, 1809-1893. This Native American portrayed here was a member of the northern plains Hidatsa Siouan tribe.
