I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Our local weather channel says that with the mild temperature of the last few days some migratory birds have already arrived in our region (Montréal, Quebec, Canada), so soon it will also be the return of the American Woodcock In our region.
The earliest woodcocks I saw in the season are a March 19 in 2012 and 2016, of course it was with the help of my pointing dogs (Griffon Korthals), because it takes a pointing dog to be able to find a camouflaged woodcock in the forest ground.
The woodcock in this picture that is at the nest, was found on March 30, 2016 by Bobcat Celtick my 3rd and current pointing dog (Griffon Korthals).
