Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I have been watching Star Trek, the Original Series, in broadcast order. I love that show from my youth - it still is better than much of what TV produces today, despite being 50+ years old. This image was inspired by the episode called "Amok Time" in which Spock has to go back to his planet, Vulcan, for a mating ceremony. In the midst of the issue, Spock ends up killing Captain Kirk... or did he? Only Dr. McCoy (Bones) knows for sure.
