The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.

A group of individuals dressed in historical clothing reminiscent of the 17th century are gathered around a table, showing a scene that emulates an anatomy lesson. They are focusing their attention on a figure lying on the table, with a dramatic representation of an open chest revealing internal anatomy, while surgical instruments and documents lay scattered beside them. One character stands out as he gestures theatrically, possibly playing the role of the instructor in this apparent reenactment of a moment from the history of medical science.
