This ceiling graces a chapel ceiling near Stations III & IV along Jerusalem's Via Delarosa -- The Way of the Cross. The ceiling's crown of thorns, laced with lilies, rings a traditional Christian anchor cross symbol at the center. The Latin phrases below the anchor, drawn from the Gospels, reflect the symbol's message of hope: 'Noli flere' [Don't cry] from Luke 7:13 & 'Resurget' [Rise again] from John 11:23.
