I was thrilled to discover your website and find that you were offering multiple products with the image of the Filben Maestro as my grandfather, William Filben, was the inventor. I ordered this tote for a cousin and she was beyond delighted to receive it having a fond interest in collecting all things Filben.

Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

Artist's Description

"Apollo 15 EVA 1"

Apollo 15 (July 26 – August 7, 1971) was the ninth crewed mission in the United States' Apollo program and the fourth to land on the Moon. It was the first J mission, with a longer stay on the Moon and a greater focus on science than earlier landings. Apollo 15 saw the first use of the Lunar Roving Vehicle.

Commander: David Scott
Lunar Module Pilot: James Irwin
Command Module Pilot: Alfred Worden

From the Apollo 15 Map and Image Library:

"125:45:12 This excellent picture is the last one that Dave took at the end of EVA-1. He has moved around to a position in the LM shadow southwest of the Rover. A detail shows Jim and the Rover. Mt. Hadley, in all its glory, is in the background. On the back of the Rover we can see two SCBs mounted on the gate; and, also, the rake, both pairs of tongs, the extension handle, probably with the scoop attached, and the penetrometer. Note that the TV camera is pointed down, in the stowed position. As can...

About Eric Glaser

Eric Glaser

Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA, I'm a nature and landscape photographer primarily focused on the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Working in both color and black and white, I use a variety of photographic techniques to capture the many moods of mountain landscapes, from intimate perspectives to grand vistas, in locations both iconic and seldom-visited. My goal is to produce images with vivid colors, high dynamic range, and compelling compositions. Longer lens focal lengths are preferred to bring the viewer closer into the scene, requiring every available pixel to help tell the story. Thank you for visiting the site. I hope you enjoy my work. "The mountains are calling and I must go." -- John Muir
