I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.
Pick a pestle, any pestle. Lot's to choose from, different sizes, materials, shapes. I personally don't see the difference, except maybe for the volume it can hold. Though I guess they make a different sound when you grind with it.
