The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Argonaut egg case. Close-up of an egg case from a greater argonaut (Argonauta argo). Argonauts are pelagic octopuses - marine cephalopod molluscs. They are also called paper nautiluses, referring to these paper-thin calcitic nacelle in which females raise their young. Large and intact specimens are extremely rare. Specimen measures: 23.5 x 16 x 8 cm.
