This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
August T. Baden was a drugstore owner who lived in this house in Independence, Kansas until he died in 1988. He founded the cinnamon-flavored Baden's Hot Toothpicks which began as a treat for neighborhood children in 1949 but turned into a big business with Mr. Baden shipping millions of cinnamon toothpicks around the world. These toothpicks became increasingly popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
Mr. Baden closed his drugstore, the Cozy Corner, in 1962 but continued producing cinnamon toothpicks at a plant in Independence until his retirement. When I was a very young girl, I lived kitty-corner from this house. Mr. Baden used to call me "Fleeting Deer" as I would run and jump playing with the neighborhood kids.
About Jenny Revitz Soper
I've returned to my roots in Kansas after spending 45 years in Los Angeles. My passion for photography has always been an essential part of me, and I never leave home without my camera. I strive to capture the extraordinary in the ordinary, using clever juxtapositions, contradictions, bursts of color, and touches of whimsy. My photography is a true expression of how I perceive the world, staying authentic and genuine to myself. I believe it is the artist's vision that produces art, and I appreciate every method and technique utilized to achieve that vision. Occasionally, I use digital applications and artificial intelligence to produce my final vision. If you're interested in owning my art, FAA offers multiple ways to enjoy it, including...
