￿I spent a number of years in the ￿Willows￿ ranch when I was growing up and
sometimes my family visited friends in Wikiup. This is what I remember from playing on the Riverbanks of the Big Sandy River as a kid. This painting was constructed from memory, I think the cool water and trees compliment the harshness of the mountains and ridges.

I was raised on a ranch in Northern Arizona and that was where my appreciation began. I can even recall a favorite watering hole for wild horses called Horsewater, which I have represented in a painting of mine of the same name. These experiences have influenced my artwork greatly. Once completing college at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, I began work in the mental health services for Native American tribes, such as the Hualapais and the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Through that position, I was privileged to see many Anasazi ruins in the area, which helped further my appreciation for Earth's natural beauty.
