The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
This is a painting of a scene outside of our hotel window in Switzerland. It was such an impressive scene that it stuck with me for 20 years until I had time to paint it. I will never forget seeing the show covered peak and the spring meadows with that cold-as-ice stream cascading down the mountainside. The wind coming off that stream would put icecicles on your schnozola! However, the scene was absolutely beautiful.

Jack is a visual artist using his art as one of the most perfect forms of communication available. He began his career as an engineer using drawings and sketches to communicate with other engineers and manufacturing departments. After a number of years he entered the world of computer engineering using his drawing abilities as a way of communicating different uses of processing systems. Although not fine art, it nevertheless was artistic communication. After retirement, his wife Nancy, a fine artist also, talked him into participating in a drawing class and he was "hooked".
