I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

This was a big hit as a gift. The recipients had taken a romantic picture in this locale And now they have a beautiful bag to take with them on their honeymoon.
Using a reverse I did the back hills in pale greens, and darkening them as they came close to the front of the painting where the water runs from one side to the other giving the appearance of wrapping around the hills, I didn't want to fill the sky with birds but wanted enough to warrant the name migration and in our imagination the other bills are off in the distant. :) I have to admit I am one of those people who has a hard time with sensing perception, just like directions I seem to get lost but hopefully I am improving on at least one of these areas. And since my perception is off for the most part I reversed what I know should be light to dark but then I tend to go off on my own in some things. Please enjoy my simple painting and I hope it is enjoyed. Thank you!
Debra is a Tennessean who migrated to Maryland in the late 1970's. She studied art at FCC in Frederick, Maryland where she began her psychology and social science studies. She incorporated art into her curriculum. After graduating from FCC she studied for a Bachelor in Psychology with a Minor in Social Sciences. She then continued her studies and graduated from UMUC in Maryland with a Bachelor in Criminal Justice. She graduated with Cum Laude honors with both Bachelors and then began her Masters in Forensic Psychology. Do to health issues she had to leave her studies behind, which is when she returned to the art that she loves. Debra will be a good friend to those she knows due to the fact she never left her father's teachings behind...
