I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

I collected my Polish Pottery while living in Belgium. And now I go to Marshals and Tuesday Morning because sometimes they have my pattern available. Some pieces I use every day, but the whole set comes out for the holidays. It is so pretty and festive looking--and even makes my cooking look good. Ha.

Cont.: it was a Sunday. Next time I'm in Poland I will stop in Boleslawiec but not on a Sunday. When I was growing up in Poland we didn't have these potteries so I wasn't familiar with them. I've bought some pieces at Marshals in Pittsburgh, PA about 2 yrs. ago:)
Michaline Bak
I have several pieces. I've started collecting just a few years ago. You wouldn't believe but about 12 years ago I was passing through Boleslawiec and I've noticed all the pottery shops and didn't know what to think of them. I couldn't go in because it was a Sunday and they were all closed. I did manage to purchase a ceremic frog from a vendor. At that time I didn't know anything about Polish pottery. We didn't have them at our house in Poland. I was travelling with a male cousin and he didn't know anything about them either. Next time I'm in Poland I will go to Beleslawiec but not on a Sunday :) I'll bet you were in Beleslawiec at that time instead of me.

Thank you Michaline. Yes, I'm obsessed with Polish pottery. :)

Beautiful! It would be nice to hang it in a kitchen especially in a Polish kitchen since you have Polish pottery there :) Love it! Wouldn't mind in my kitchen or any American kitchen since these are also American colors: red, white and blue!
