I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

This was a big hit as a gift. The recipients had taken a romantic picture in this locale And now they have a beautiful bag to take with them on their honeymoon.
I don't like pears, I find them mushy. That said, their shape is quite distinctive and fun to paint.
I saw no reason to be faithful to a pears natural colors. Purists and pear lovers will just have to forgive me.
During the late 60's I started taking pictures in my hometown of Brooklyn, NY with my father's Rolleicord. I was immediately taken with the art of composition. After buying my first 35MM Canon SLR and moving into Manhattan in 1974, I took a workshop with renowned Nikon photographer/educator George Obremski. I came away inspired. As I moved from one ad agency to another in NYC then to Los Angeles, and finally to Grand Rapids, MI I rose through the ranks to become a Creative Director.
