At the peak of bluebonnet season, the Hill Country of Texas is covered in bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush wildflowers. Just south of Llano, TX, this old oak tree stump is surrounded by bluebonnet wildflowers.
Bluebonnet is a name given to any number of species of the genus Lupinus predominantly found in southwestern United States and is collectively the state flower of Texas. The shape of the petals on the flower resembles the bonnet worn by pioneer women to shield them from the sun.

I can point back to the exact moment in time and space when I said, "I want to be a photographer." It was during my first visit to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. I was standing in front of Palette Springs and thought I had been transported through a wormhole to another planet. I snapped a few images with my cell phone and my photography career was born. Stunning sunset!! The rocks and the waves just give it the added touch! v/

Brian, Remarkable sunset capture love the glow coming off of the sun as it sets on the horizon, giving off that last piece of light to lighten up your foreground where the waves are crashing into the rocks and raising all types of white water, great water action captured there. Excellent reflection from the sun through the water and right up to your lens. Excellent waves curling a little further out almost in the middle of the photo. Fantastic photo, voted, google, tweet and FB promoted and chosen as my Daily Favorite in the CFC group for today
