The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.
Artist's Description
In my second year of community college I majored in art. This girl was in some of my classes. She was very tall and had such a large body of hair and it was very long. I asked her if I could photograph her in my studio. At that time I had a studio and a darkroom in the basement of my house. She came over to the studio and this is one of the photos during that session. I wanted to photograph her in all black-and-white.
The camera I used was a 35mm Nikkormat FTN with a Nikkor 135mm f/2.8 lens. The film was Kodak Tri-X at ISO 400. The lighting was a mix of both hard and soft tungsten lighting.

From home darkrooms to industrial photo labs and in various studios and on-location as a commercial photographer. I have assisted many professional photographers, worked in various labs and studios. My education was from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo,Iowa. There I received my associate of applied arts degree in photography. I am an alumni of the Winona School of Professional Photography, formally sponsored...
