This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!
Our cat Boerne was named after the town in the Texas hill country. "Bo" was a funny and special cat who loved to climb up our many live Coastal Oak trees. He was a silver tabby with a personality more like a dog than a cat, we used to call him "Bo-Dog".
This pen and ink is 16"x20" and is not for sale. It did win an Honorable Mention in the "On My Own Time" art show in Victoria, Texas, a few years ago.
I think if I could only use one type of media to create art, it would be ink. I do love pen and ink drawings.

Drawing and painting animals has always been my favorite choice in art and have been drawing since I was old enough to pick up a crayon. Art is part of what I do, not just something to do. I hold a degree in Commercial Art, worked in graphic and commercial art for several years, and studied Studio Art at the University of California, Riverside. My favorite subjects are animals, especially wild animals and birds. I have recently completed several hummingbird works and have been lucky enough to have my work selected for the Rockport-Fulton Hummer Bird Festival T-Shirt Art contest for 2014 and 2015. More recently my work titled "Catch of the Day" was selected for the 2016 Port Aransas Whooping Crane Festival T-Shirt art. I also enjoy...
