A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
When I snagged this vintage suitcase at a St. Louis estate sale, I couldn't resist lugging it out to a field near my house and taking a photo with the dramatic sky in the background. It's a perfect gift for someone who is going on a journey.
I used HDR technology to create this image. High Dynamic Range (HDR) uses a digital process of combining the color and tone of multiple exposures to generate an enhanced composite image. The artist has control over the intensity of the effect, allowing for a great deal of creative license in achieving the desired results.

About Jane Linders
My current passion is an alternative photographic process called Polaroid transfers. Each transfer is hand-made by the photographer using specific materials and equipment to achieve a desired effect. A transparency is projected on to professional Polaroid print film and as development begins, the print and chemicals are prematurely separated. The image is transferred on to dampened watercolor paper for a unique image which has a dated, artistic photo-painting appearance. Exposure, pressure, time, paper and other variables make each print an original mono-print. Prints for sale in my Etsy shop too: http://www.etsy.com/shop/jalinde I am fascinated by the unpredictability of Polaroid transfers and I love the freedom of...

I love this composition and the subject. My mom is the proud owner of a set of this hard-sided luggage from 19?? and she always tries to sell it at my garage sales. I might have to buy it from her to use for photo props!! Very nice!

What a great surprise - love the composition, Jane! These vintage pieces of luggage have so much style and class. I have one just like it only in a soft yellow, lined in yellow satin with a fleur-de-lis design. This image is so inviting - very nicely done! V/F

Jane, fantastic photo with great detail and very dramatic looking. Love the way you have enhanced the sky with HDR and really give a viewer the reason to take a second look at this photo, it really is an eye grabber. Love the creativity of taken the suitcase and sticking out in the field like that and photographing it. Enjoyed the write up on the idea and how the photo came to be. Excellent photo, voted, google, tweet, and FB promoted
