Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Quite beautiful!
This is a monochrome version of the image entitled Boots on the Ground. The boots are a sculpture that is tribute to firefighters at Fort Worth (Texas) Fire Station 8. This sculpture is entitled United We Stand and was designed by Eric McGehearty. It is constructed in bronze and dedicated in 2006. In total, the sculpture has 12 pair of the of the three-quarter boots, signifying the firefighter's preparedness and camaraderie. The boots depicted are called three quarter boots or hip boots because they unfold to cover the upper part of the leg. In a web search, it seems like there are some fire stations who still have a few pair of these around, although they are being phased out. In some stations they sit in a glass trophy case with other antiques.

My photographic goal is to travel the world in a curious yet respectful way, taking the time to see and understand the unique story of each place I visit. Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
