Donald Hill, or Bow, lives ten or fifteen miles away and since he does not drive he hitchhikes into Napanee every day weather permitting. What exactly it is he finds so appealing about Napanee is somewhat of a mystery to me since he lives in the very beautiful village of Deseronto. He comes to Napanee and just walks up and down Dundas Street W. and perhaps drops into Len's for a coffee, then he hitchhikes home again.

Bow is a very thin man and some day I'm going to either buy him a pair of suspenders or punch another hole into his belt. Poor guy is forever in danger of losing his trousers.

I used to make my living as a cinematographer and then a stroke put an end to that career. However still-photography is something I can yet do and I'm having the time of my life with it. The nice thing about working as a "fine art" photographer is that there are no producers, agencies, directors, clients, or other committee members dictating how and what I should shoot or do. The only people I have to please are you and me. Very recently I learned to my chagrin that there were still one or two people who did have influence over what I could/should do or not do.
