Description
The suns first rays light up the Cathedral group of the Grand Tetons. This image is an HDR and processed to bring out the detail but still keep the colors as natural as possible. This Image was taken in late autumn from Schwabacher's Landing with the Tetons reflecting in the Snake River. The famous Cathedral group is made up of several tall peaks, most over 12,000 feet. The crown jewel and tallest mountain in the group is Grand Teton. The rest of the group is made up of Teewinot Mountain, Mount Owen, Middle Teton, South Teton,Teepe Pillar, Cloudveil Dome, Nez Perce Peak and Buck Mountain.
