I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

One of the slow growing pine tree species is the Bristlecone pine. Under normal conditions Bristlecone Pines get 300-400 years old and have adjusted to places that no other tree wants to inhabit.
Here on Crater Lake in Crater Lake National Park, southwest Oregon, intense sun, extremely arid conditions, high winds and winter exposure wear away at the bark of bristlecone pines, leaving striations along their exterior. However, a small amount of living bark is all that is necessary to sustain a mature bristlecone pine tree into extreme old age.
Bristlecone pine trees, in their lonely endurance and dignity, teach us the deep meaning of the eternal dance of life and death.
