A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
Yuma cauliflower and broccoli crops have increased substantially in recent years. Currently more than 93% of state cauliflower and 70% of broccoli is grown in Yuma. Maricopa and Pinal counties grow the rest of state cauliflower and broccoli.
During the winter months, November to March, broccoli is grown and harvested in Yuma.
Planting is done by direct seeding or by transplanting seedlings started in a greenhouse.
Although various varieties have slightly different harvesting time, most reach maturity from seed in 100 to 120 days.
Over 30,000 plants can grow in only one acre.
A broccoli field may be harvested 2 to 3 times to harvest all the mature broccoli.
Ideally, broccoli should be harvested during the cooler months in order to ensure the longest storage time.
It is harvested with eight to 10 inches of stem left intact and the heads should be cooled immediately to prevent opening and discoloration.
Broccoli may be packed in the fiel...
About Robert Bales
I am a retired teacher, coach, and athletic director. While my wife, Judy, and I were teaching she had a photo studio, and I had a dark room where I did black and white and color. Some were for the studio while most of it was just a hobby. When we retired in 2000, we sold our house in Eastern Washington and moved onto our boat, Last Class, and our motorhome. We sold Last Class a few years ago and bought a small house in Yuma, Arizona and bought another one in Emmett Idaho. Now we spend the summers in Emmett and the winters in Yuma. Over our 50 years of marriage, we have always had an interest in photography and both of us enjoy taking the photos for this site. I have always used Cannon cameras and now I am using the 7D for most of the...
