The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Bromeliad plant (Tillandsia fasciculata) in flower (flower spike at lower right). Bromeliads are tropical plants, mostly found in South America, that have clusters of thick leaves. Most are also epiphytic plants that grow on rocks or other plants for support, and obtain nutrients from the air and rain. Photographed at the Harry P. Leu Gardens, Florida, USA.
