Not long ago, a woods on Milwaukee Road in Beloit, WI, was torn out in order to build a new school. In the woods was a unique log cabin built by the former land owners there and used as an arts and crafts store for some years. Now the cabin is gone, but I have transported it magically to this winter mountain scene in some far away imagined setting. You can keep the magic going by purchasing this original!
I am a retired pastor who has taken up acrylic painting as my retirement hobby. I've been painting seriously for the past 15 years or so, and find great relaxation and enjoyment in realistic painting, especially of God's creation and creatures. I also have a soft spot for old barns, and love to find barns that have character revealed in their structure which I try to capture in my paintings of them. I live in Southern Wisconsin, and am an avid outdoorsman, though health has restricted me from being the hunter I once was.
