Love this duvet cover in the Tree Fort Suite of the Elk View Lodge, Fernie, BC, Canada.
Took the Mrs. up to San Francisco for New Years 2013, and took some great pictures at Fisherman's Wharf. This is during the turn-around process. These cars, unlike others, do not have a drivers control on either end and can only travel on one direction. They also don't outside seats on both ends also, just the front. Still manually turning them around on the wooden circle with two men who's jobs are to turn them around all day. In-between jobs, they watch TV in a room off to the right.

I started painting in the winter of 1985-86, after meeting a group of artists in Phoenix, Arizona that previous summer. I figured if they could do it, so could I. Those artists became my friends and gave me some art supplies for my birthday. I was heavily influenced by the COBRA group that was around in Europe after WWII, Dada, the Surrealists, as well as Bacon, DeKooning, and Schwitter. I started very loose as my early works show, and now enjoy the challenge of painting with more detail. Most of the time when I draw or paint, I usually do not have a per-conceived idea...
