Judith Chapman was born in Hartford, CT in 1943, and lived in Newington, CT through high school. She received a BFA from the University of Hartford - the Art School, in 1967. She is primarily an oil painter but also works in watercolor, and pastel. She has painted most all of her life but also has had a long career in retail as an owner of a leather shop and a gourmet kitchenware store. She was also employed as a graphic artist and later as a kitchen and bath designer. Judith is an Elected Artist at the Lyme Art Association in Old Lyme CT where she served in many capacities including being an artistic director and Vice President of the board of directors.She was also a member of the Goldcoast Watercolor Society and the Cape Cod Art...
