This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Behold! Carcassonne! Europe's largest, functioning, double-walled city.. with 52 towers (turrets) and 2 kilometers of protective walls. Site of a Roman fort before the time of Christ.. Besieged by Charlemagne, Visigoths, Moors, & Saracens.. today in the heat of summer..by history loving tourists.
Poo Poo-ed by some travel elitists as 'disneyland'.. It's not.. It's real.. Take a tour Though I pass by this UN Heritage site several times a week.. It never fails to move my emotions.. It's size and beauty, 2000 years ago, just a small Roman outpost. It's castle is where Costner's Robin Hood "duel" was filmed.. Then there's the Museum of the Inquisition (if you dare).
Just choose your timing.. in early morning .. evening & night.. or Off Season.. As this photo shows, though there are 300 days of Sunshine here in the South of a France..a cloudy day can add drama. C'est Magnifique!
The saying goes.."Don't die before you see Carcassonne!" You won't be sorry....
