Chilean spurs and stirrup. Artwork of Chilean spurs and stirrup, drawn to illustrate an account written by the British naturalist Charles Darwin of his travels in Chile during the five years of the second survey voyage of HMS Beagle. He visited this part of Chile in November 1934. The artwork is from page 290 of Darwin's 'Journal of Researches' (the 1890 John Murray first illustrated edition).
