The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.

In late winter and early spring, the sugar bush is a favourite place for many people in Ontario, Quebec and the northeastern USA. Horses like this team of Belgians, are still used to collect the sap to be boiled into maple syrup in the quaint and sometimes colourful sugar shacks built for this purpose.
About Richard De Wolfe
The Thousand Islands region of Ontario, Canada, was the perfect backdrop for a childhood filled with adventure for Richard De Wolfe, an artist who still identifies strongly with rural life. The forests, fields, and of course the mighty St. Lawrence River, made the wonders of nature come alive for him. The art of Richard De Wolfe has been very popular ever since his first one-man show at the age of eighteen. That show was a sell out, supplying him with commissions for many months after.
