Jimmy, symbolism is wonderful in this cotton belt painting. I love reading into the work. There is a phrase that fits here: 'Art is a lie that tells the truth'. Several X's in this work; the upward pointing wheat; the forceful forward movement of the locomotive. Love this so much. F/L.
