The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

This was taken at a re-enactment of the Battle of the Little Bighorn on the land belonging to the Real Bird family. The story was spoken by Dr Joe Medicine Crow who turned 100 in October, 2013. He is a grandson of White Man Runs Him, a Crow scout for George Armstrong Custer who survived the battle and later told his grandson of the battle. From this telling he created the narrative.
It is an incredibly beautiful world out there. Our goal is to try to capture some of it in our images. Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest we never lack for places to shoot.
