Emily Elizabeth Michaud loves art, teaching and caring for children. She has a BA in Fine Art from Regis College and is certified to teach little ones from birth through elementary school. She enjoys working with various media and trying new techniques. She likes to mimic the masters, particularly the impressionists and also makes her own creative works. She uses her imagination and also the subject matter that surrounds her; her family, pets, places they visit, the pretty little New England town she lives in and the wonderful things her family grows on their little farm to work from. She obtains a great deal of inspiration from other artists on Fine Art America and welcomes all kinds of feedback.

Thanks, Emily. I loved the focus on the mother/child art before but this new look allows people to see the wide range of your interests and talents.

I'm so glad you like them. I did check out your bluebird photo and I think it's great. The slideshows can be found in the marketing section of behind the scenes. Go to slideshows and widgets and copy and paste the code to your biography when editing your profile.

This is great. My favorite colors for spring...By the way I have never forgotten your sweet bluebird and posted a photo I took in 2008 on my site if you want to take a look. I love your slide show upon entering your site now! How do you DO that? I'll be back...

Thanks Allen! Me too. He apparently was a Greek hunter of legend that was so beautiful and into himself that he either starved looking at his reflection in the water or fell in and drowned. The first of these flowers grew where he died in the myth.
