Out of the shadows a face is seen. The light hits just right to make this both scary and mysterious. It would make a great mystery book cover.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

This was a big hit as a gift. The recipients had taken a romantic picture in this locale And now they have a beautiful bag to take with them on their honeymoon.

At 12 yrs. old I was fascinated by this little box called a camera. If you pressed the button and brought the negatives to a drugstore, one week later photos would be returned in its' place. I didn't understand this magic. When I was old enough, I studied photography at Brooklyn College. I found that if I put my negatives in a thing called an enlarger a shadow would appear on photo paper. When I dropped that paper in some chemicals, a picture would emerge. Wow! I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed. I have had four one woman shows and one group show in Manhattan. It was an...

A fabulous, great portrait! To me, it is not scary or mysterious, just intense and 'to the point', meaning - showing the 'essence' of this man. Excellent !

Madeline, I know what you mean about NOT having your camera when a golden opportunity to capture something hits! My wife teases me about my obsession! Thank you for reading my profile... I think my best work is still ahead, not cause I'm any better than years ago but I have so much more appreciation now for simple pleasures in life...the beauty I see in creation...and the kind words of others. Thank you for clicking on the follow icon. It means a lot! MY Very Best Regards, JERRY
Madeline Ellis replied:
My pleasure and my gain!

Madeline, I kinda figured all along...I'm sure that he loves your work as we all do! JERRY
Madeline Ellis replied:
He has a couple of my photos hanging in his office, and he sends people to my site, but in general he gets pretty annoyed at my picture taking. I am obsessed when I have a camera in my hand. When it is not, I sometimes see something that I wish I could capture. As artist, we have the proclivity to be obsessed by whatever means of expression we use.
Madeline Ellis replied:
I am very impressed with your work and your profile info is very interesting.

Madeline, Who is this mysterious man...like right out of a classic suspense movie!? Very interesting! JERRY
Madeline Ellis replied:
Jerry, thanks for looking and commenting. The "mysterious man" is my husband. Annoyed at all the pictures I was taking.
