Looking to the east, we watch the sun slowly rise ... scattering the delicate misty clouds and deep shadows and bringing warmth and color and light to the landscape. The little church nestled in the valley welcomes another new day. The pink cherry trees, planted long ago by someone with an eye for the picturesque light up, as do the tips of the wildflowers we stand among. Soon the darkness will all have vaporized and the doings of the spring day will begin in earnest.

Loosely sketched from a photo I took in Pennsylvania on a snow-covered morning in January. Hand-painted in Corel Painter 2019 and the Wacom Tablet with a variety of brushes, mostly from the beautiful Bob Ross collection.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence.
