Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

My brother was the astronaut who shot this photo on the STS 58 mission; since he was photographing on behalf of NASA, his name is not directly linked to the photo. He was passionate about mountains, to include climbing. He was featured in National Geographic, noting that their map of Everest allowed him to specifically identify that he had captured the view of K2. It is a nice piece of art in its own right, but the backstory is meaningful to our family and we are glad we could acquire this art. We have bought both an acrylic version and a metal version; both are great mediums for this specific photo.

Mario Sanchez Nevado (Barcelona, 1985) is a Spanish freelance Illustrator and Art Director Graduated in Fine Arts with a Major in Digital Arts by the University of Murcia, who creates artworks and designs for music bands and publishing houses worldwide. His distinctive surreal signature on aesthetics, and his caustic approach on storytelling, has granted him a worldwide recognition of his career. Personally I enjoy digital art because there’s a lot of options you can use.Drawing traditionally is more “free”, but you can’t undo or use a fill tool. There’s also transforming, layers, shapes, different brushes, and so on.
