I was thrilled to discover your website and find that you were offering multiple products with the image of the Filben Maestro as my grandfather, William Filben, was the inventor. I will be framing this photo for my home and anticipate ordering many other items in the near future for my large extended family

When I saw this photo of my hero, I had to obtain it because as you can see in the photo, I have Babe Ruth when he was young & strong initially with the Yankees. I want to truly thank the artist for his photo!

Terrific concert photo of Madonna back in the '80s. I hope the owner of this series featured in Life Magazine will make more available. They are stunning.

Artist's Description
For day 198 of a 365 day challenge of one new image a day, I found this unedited image of a door and window from the hotel at Fayette State Park in Michigan.
Fayette State Park in Michigan’s upper peninsula along the shores of Lake Michigan was one of the largest iron smelting locations during the 1870s and 1880s. With its large hotel, It was also a resort destination for people to get away from the city and do some boating, hunting and fishing. The population at its peak was about 500.
Iron workers would make about one dollar a day from which they tried to put some money away for when there was a furnace shut down, or for the harsh winter months.
When the smelting operation shut down in 1891, some people stayed in the town, including commercial fishermen. The hotel operated well into the 20th century and in 1959, the state acquired the land and turned it into a state park. Restoration of the village buildings continues.
About Mary Bedy
I have been wandering around with my camera for over 30 years. Everything interests me. Little tiny buds in the forest, vast panoramic landscapes, interesting old buildings, and silent snowy woods. I have had the honor of having a photo of Fort Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City, Michigan chosen for the December 2015 cover of Michigan History magazine. Indeed, as a life-long Michigander, in my portfolio you will find many images of our lovely Michigan shorelines, the Freighters that sail the Great Lakes, Michigan landmark locations such as Mackinac Island, Belle Isle, Greenfield Village, and more. I also had an image chosen in July of 2020 and again in 2021 to be included in the publication "Our Magnificent Planet" by Lenswork...
