Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.
This is an original abstract drawing done on 11”x14” vellum Bristol board using ink drips, alcohol based markers and a rapidograph pen and sharpie for black lines.
Because so much of my artwork is insprired by all the awesome shapes and colors I see while driving in Detroit., MI. I titled it "Driving Downtown" .

For some reason, at first sight, I thought of books of various sizes and colors when I first saw this, Sandra - so the title threw me! Love the colors and shapes in it, regardless of whether they're books or buildings! L/F
Sandra Church replied:
Thanks Conni! Well it could be books too but why I titled it, “Driving Downtown”, is I think in my subconscious mind I’m influenced by the sights I see in Detroit.
