I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.
An antique, vintage map from the year 1891, of an aerial view of the city of Durham, North Carolina. This wonderfully nostalgic piece of history is from the Public Domain, and was published by Ruger & Stoner of Madison, Wisconsin, lithography by Burleigh Lithographing Establishment of Troy, NY. Under the map, an index lists for reference notable public buildings, manufacturers, churches, hotels and more in the area at the time. At the bottom left, an individual insert shows East Durham. This reproduction image has been restored and color corrected.
I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. I like to explore every nook and cranny of anywhere I visit and I'm always looking out for something unusual or unique, weird and wonderful, interesting and intriguing. For me, half the challenge is in the initial taking of the photo, the looking for something that catches my attention, getting that perfect composition, but the other half is in the processing, the tweaking and twisting and the addition of a little imagination to see how much detail I can bring to the surface and hopefully let the viewer see the same as I did when I took the shot. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
