Comment from Wiles' latest buyer of "Elegance of Creation" follows:
"Just to say, I was stunned by the beauty of this photograph. I was an art history lecturer after working at the Baltimore Museum of Art many years ago. I haven't lost my knack for picking out gorgeous images and compositions. I have a great spot in my home to hang your work of art. I'll enjoy receiving images of your future works, but this note is aimed at making you feel proud and showing my appreciation of this photograph that I now own..."
Wiles was most appreciative to receive this wonderful note from the buyer through Fine Art America...
It is quiet breathtaking to see such a magical and elaborate display of feathers when the white egret's breeding season begins. This most unusual courtship display is done to attract a mate and is wonderful to see in their natural habitats. During the breeding season, the egrets develop long wispy feathers on their backs, necks and heads to exemplify their need to attract. In the late 1800's their plumes sold for about $32.00 an ounce, twice what the price of gold was at that time. This beautiful bird is one of nature's perfect examples of the "ELEGANCE of CREATION" itself...
ELEGANCE of CREATION was featured in the following:
