About Glenn DiPaola
I attended the University of Rhode Island where I studied photography under Bart Parker. I graduated with a BFA in fine art photography and a minor in communications. College was always b&w work, hand-processed in the dark room, using many different cameras. It was great fun. After college I worked in the photo-finishing business for many years as well as doing commercial photography. In the 80's I started to shoot only color for my artwork and never returned to the world of black & white - until 2014. I started converting my color digital images to black and white whenever I saw them as intended for bw. I believe the eye you started with does not go away. With my newest Fujifilm digital cameras, I am shooting for b&w and...

Linda Lees
Nice composition Glenn, the textures and tones look great. I was surprised to find that the Everly Brothers would be in the Country Music Hall of Fame, I thought that they were more pop singers.
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thank you Linda. I'm happy with this. I have it hanging in my house. They were great and I'm glad to have my own image as a tribute to their music. They walked a line between country and pop, which is one of the reasons they were as popular as they were. Not many could do that back then, crossover. Now quite a bit of country music sounds more like pop than country.

Wonderful capture. Looks like you had a great time at the Country Music Hall of Fame. VF
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thanks. I did enjoy the place. Not too big to deal with and nicely designed to allow going through it in a linear fashion. Wish the lighting was a little brighter in the displays, could have used a higher settings on the camera.
