I felt that this slavery image and that song had a deep kinship, each one further illustrates the other. My mind has a habit of putting unrelated things together, very quickly sometimes. This is a photo of an old dilapidated barn in Eastern North Carolina and my imaginings about the family that might have lived there, all they had was God, each other and a home.
