This is the original version of this photograph, taken on the Big Island of Hawai'i. It's still my favorite, although the black and white version seems more dramatic.

I was a latecomer to photography, starting in my 60's (I am now in my 70's). Yet I have found great satisfaction and pleasure in creating digital art from my photographs. Taking pictures was a hobby until spine surgery in 2001 left me disabled and gave me the opportunity to learn about digital art and photographic software.
