The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

While coming in from fishing recently on the south shore of Long Island, we began to turn into Oceanside where our charter boat was docked. As everyone was sitting back enjoying the stories of the fish we had caught that day, the sky began to become dark and the sun seemed to be setting earlier and faster then several weeks ago. An unfortunate sign that summer is over and fall is coming. As I looked around I saw this great view of the sun setting behind some land in the distance and grabbed my camera and put my zoom lens on to be able to capture all of the details in the colors in the sky. I looked out and saw the sun reflecting off of the waves and the wakes that the boat was making. I wanted to capture the sun, clouds and the ocean with that reflection in one shot, but I had to wait for the boat to slow down to get a nice even shot. Eventually we entered the no wake zone and I was all set up with my camera and took several p...
