Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

Forgiveness is a mixed media painting of a Zulu warrior with his feet in the Ncome River, which became known as Blood River because of the battle that was fought there in 1838. Over 3000 Zulu warriors were slaughtered in battle turning the water red with their blood. The Voortrekkers, descendents of early Dutch colonialists, only suffered three injuries in the battle, because of their cannons and gun power.
The art work is called Forgiveness because South Africa is a nation that will only move ahead when all of its people come from forgiveness, as they did when they created the miracle of the first democratic election in 1994. Forgiveness must come from all of the many varied segments of society, not simply between blacks and whites. The Zulus need to forgive the Afrikaners and the English, but so do the Afrikaners need to forgive the Engli...

Michael, as your tribute is fast nearing its end, I wish to showcase one of the greatest of your collections, HEARTSCAPE IMAGES. While this collection is less about the MASTERY of your brush, it speaks to the Kindness and Openness of your heArt. Much of my personal life grieving has been over man’s inhumanity to man. Love appears to be the only balm, forgiveness the only grace...and I say grace because I believe our humanIty is incapable of it absent the surrender to a Greater Source. Mark Twain’s quotation often comes to my mind: “Forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds upon the heel that would crush it.” You so beautifully describe this element of human necessity in this visual and historical narrative. Thank you for your life journey and Spiritual life work, Michael. I so appreciate your Aesthetic, your philosophy and your heArt.
