Constructed around 1838. A good and locally significant example of early Greek Revival design.
Significant also because its original owner married Sara Bollinger daughter of Fredrick Bollinger an early pioneer to Southeast Missouri area. Sara made significant contributions to this area taking over the operation of the Mill at Burfordsville upon the death of her father.
