The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

While vacationing in San Diego, I was walking around the area of the hotel I was staying at when I came upon the entrance to the Gaslamp Quarter District, a historical part of San Diego which is also been nicknamed New Town to distinguish between Old Town which is an area close by originally developed by Spanish settlers. The Gaslamp Quarter entrance is very hard to miss with a street sign that stretches from one side of the street to the other side of the street. While the sign has yellow, red and green colors to it and at the top of the sign very clearly written "Gaslamp Quarter" and off to the side "Historic Heart of San Diego".
